This hoppy German altbier-style ale has the crispness of a German lager , the hoppy punch of a pale ale, and the malt backbone of a brown. It's a unique combination of flavors that is almost exclusively brewed in the Dusseldorf area of Germany. Very smooth and drinkable with a great toasted flavor. Our newest year-round addition!
Cloudy because of the large amount of wheat added to the mash and the Belgian yeast remaining in suspension, our Belgian Wit is light, refreshing, and a little bit tart. It's spiced with coriander, curacao orange peel, and a top secret brewing spice. This is one of our favorite Summer brews.
Our blond is a light, drinkable ale made with Pilsner malt, a touch of wheat and Noble Hallertau hops. It's closely based on Kolsch biers of Cologne Germany. We use a traditional yeast strain that ferments at a lower temperature than most ale yeasts and then cold-condition the beer for several weeks. The result is a light, flavorful ale with a lager-like clean and crisp finish.
Dark in color with a big Amarillo hop kick, this lager has a totally unique blend of flavors. The dark German de-husked malt addas a touch of roastiness while the lager yeast gives it a clean finish, leaving room for the massive citrus and flowery hop flavor to shine through.
This English Old Ale is brewed with the best English malts and hops and then aged until it's smooth and well-rounded. Mild roasty flavors compliment its pleasant malty flavor with hints of dark fruit from the English ale yeast. Even if the weather's mild this year, you can still feel cozy and Snowbound. 12 oz pours only.
Our India Pale Lager is brewed like a West Coast IPA but with all German ingredients. We use Pilsner and Munich malts and add huge amounts of Saaz, Tettnang and Hallertau hops during the boil. After fermentation and lagering, we dry-hop it with evem more noble hops. The result is a big, drinkable lager with a nice hop kick!
