HISTORY OF THE TAP BUILDING

This picture, from the early 1900's shows J.M.Hickey's as well as the neighboring buildings.  Up until 1967, The Tap only existed in half of the building.  Only after this date did the owner purchase the Goodman Building and created access arches between the two halves of the building, essentially doubling the size of the restaurant.
The building then occupied by GEO. PEARL now is the home of the Haverhill Antique Market.
