How to get to the
TAP BREWPUB

DRIVING: Take exit 49 (Rte 110 east/River Street) off Route 495 north.  Follow through two sets of lights. This road turns into Washington St.  To park your automobile, take a right just after you pass under the RR bridge, at the blue "P" sign, into the city parking lot located just behind the building.  Approximately 40 minutes driving time from Boston.
TRAIN: The Tap is accessible by Commuter Rail from North Station; Take the Haverhill/Reading line -   tickets are $5.50 one way - we are located just across the road from the Haverhill Commuter Rail station.

Easily accessible from Route I-495, by train and bus, Haverhill is just 45 minutes from Boston.  Haverhill is the only stop in
Massachusetts on the high-speed train between Boston and Portland, Maine.

From Manchester, NH, and points north: Take I-93 South to Rt. 213 and go east for 3.3 miles. Take Exit 5B to Haverhill/NH/Maine and bear right onto I-495 North. Proceed for 4.7 miles to Exit 51A Rt. 125. Head south on Main St. to Haverhill.

From Worcester, MA, and points west: Bear right on I-290 and go northeast for 13 miles to I-495 North. Proceed for 44 miles to Exit 51A Rt.125. Head south on Main St. to Haverhill.

From surrounding communities: The Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority offers bus transportation in Haverhill and surrounding communities from Lawrence to Newburyport. The MVRTA also connects to the Lowell Regional Transit Authority. Route schedules are available at many locations throughout the Merrimack Valley.
